Oliver MacLean

Oliver’s first taste of aviation was an intro flight at SMF back in 2018. He got his PPL and CFI-Sport with the goal of passing on his knowledge and enthusiasm to his students. Safety is always Oliver’s first priority, but he also believes it’s important to make flying enjoyable. For Oliver, it starts with getting to know his students so that he can tailor teaching to their individual needs and give the best possible flying experience.
When Oliver is not flying, he enjoys playing guitars and piano while listening to a variety of musical genres. He has an impressive collection of records, CDs, and cassettes from the 70’s through the 2000’s. For the outdoors, he considers himself an avid hiker and loves to ski during the winter months.
