“I was born in Torrance, California. I have always wanted to be a pilot since I was little kid. My Dad and I would take trips to the Philippines on a Philippine Airline 747 and I would always get very excited when on a plane especially during the takeoff and landing portion. When I was 13 years old I moved to the Philippines and came back to the States when I was 25. I got a job cleaning airplanes at Van Nuys Airport and saved enough money to take an Intro Flight at Santa Monica Flyers and was completely hooked! After that I got my Private and then after that I got my CFI-Sport. Now I’m living my dream!” -KB
